Saw a few episodes of a series titled THE STORY OF US. The US is the United States of America.
The country pulled together during WW2. We were all part of it. Our military at the front and us at home. Pulling together for a common cause. "Butter for guns". Any of you remember?
The moon landing was a cause of enormous pride. It brought us together if only for awhile.
Currently in America today of what are YOU enormously proud vis a vis being an American?
