Those who continually have problems with relationships may need to look at themselves as a possible cause. Purposely having bad relationships just so one can profit off of them is sick. All failed romances have 2 sides. When one uses them to their advantage, they fail to take into account the other person, which is usually why the romance failed in the first place.
I'm a private person. No matter how badly I was hurt I would not take it out and write about it and publicize it. First of all money ain't my carrot so that would never be a lure. And the privacy thing. She lives her life in public and earns a very good living by doing so. To be fair I've heard that people love her music because her lyrics are very meaningful. I am not familiar with any of her songs or the words so I have no opinion. But you can't beat success and she seems to be that....successful. Different strokes. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. I would feel so betrayed if someone were to do that to me. Wouldn't you?

People who are dating an artist should expect it. They write songs/poems/stories many draw from their personal experiences as inspiration. For some it is their therapy. So if you are involved with someone like this....you are going to get love some written for you and break-up songs about you. This is why we can relate to some songs as if they wrote them for us. We all experience similar emotions in similar situations.
I seen an interview with a different singer. Who wrote about how she felt when her parents divorced. Her Mom after hearing the song was upset that she did not realize it affected her as much as it did. And was like we need to talk about this. The singer was like "Mom, it is all good now. I wrote a song about it."

I guess if you think about it that makes perfect sense. Poets write about what they feel and experience. Song writers (lyric writers) use their life experiences too. I mean you know I do. I use what I encounter here every day and ask questions about people's responses to other questions. You are all fodder in a way so to speak and I just ask what occurs to me due to what I experience. So how can I fault anyone for doing the same thing? They just get money for doing it! Thank you for your reply m2c and Happy Sunday to thee.
