Being punished for it. You did wrong. You got caught. You suffered the consequences. Period.
But now you do wrong you are lauded applauded embraced defended protected admired celebrated worshipped.
Either the wrong is denied despite irrefutable PROOF or it is accept matter of factly and then justified rationalized eulogized and a rigid rationale for whatever comes next. No punishment for any wrong. None.
So what does society do with that?
