Is your list of "dealbreakers" very long? Do you add to it as you go along? Which one tops your list?

My use of the word "dealbreaker" pertains to certain things about someone that would prevent you from ever becoming pals or friends or acquaintances. They'd cause you to go out of your way to avoid any encounters with them!

  • A deal breaker can be a big thing or small. It depends on the person.

What about you? What are yours specifically? What does "it depends on the person" mean as it relates to YOU particularly? Happy Thursday. This post was edited by RosieG at December 26, 2019 12:50 PM MST

  • Let’s say I start talking to someone and everything’s going good. I’m thinking ‘something nice could happen  with this person’ until a strong negative view is displayed. For example this person thinks all physically disabled people shouldn’t be allowed in public because they slow things down. Deal breaker.

People who display consequent ignorance, ie., lack of due knowledge.

People who think that electing a mercenary like Trump with no principles beyond putting himself first was a good idea---which, upon reflection is a subset of consequent ignorance.

People who are rude, crude, and otherwise mean when they drink.

    People who abuse children.

Pretty much everything else might be a most frustrating, but not a dealbreaker.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply tom and Happy Thursday. " I think the Consequent Ignorant know what a piece of garbage he is and do not care one whit about any of it. I could be wrong of course but being that consequently ignorant is difficult for me to accept as being possible. :) This post was edited by RosieG at December 30, 2019 12:55 AM MST
