    If Mr. Trump does legitimately own those private properties, it is up to him to determine under what terms he will allow camera crews on it. At my place of employment, picture-taking (either still or video) by customers is strictly prohibited. I see no reason to deny Mr. Trump the same right to control what happens on his properties.

    Now, you probably do have a point that his insistence upon being a cast member in any video filmed on his properties speaks to his narcissistic nature, but we have copious other evidence of that elsewhere. I'm not sure this particular instance of Trump's behavior is worth much of our time or attention.

    Trump extorting foreign government officials for his personal benefit is deeply concerning (and a crime).

    Trump "extorting" video producers who wish to film on his property, while gauche, is generally legal and not a national security issue.

    I ask questions I think are WORTHY SP. Otherwise I would not ask them. You may disagree.
