    Sounds like an attempt to gain moral superiority.

    Actually, the man was not quite the hero in his own country that he seems.

    He was divisive because although credited with protecting Iran from ISIS, he was also disliked by many fellow Iranians as one of the hard-line despots ruling them.

    On the other hand, the West, particularly the USA, is seen as anti-Muslim anyway.

    You know what I wonder JG? How long he can last at this rate? He seems to me to be an too-tightly-wound homo sap who winds tighter each day as his frenzied erratic desperate attempts to control what is said about him grows ever larger. He is old he is obese and he eats junk food so how healthy can he possibly be? It's avmystery to me. He is enveloped in hate and collects enemies they way people collect coins or stamps. He lives breathes eats hate 24/7 and regurgitates hates everywhere he goes. Yet there he is ticking like a pink energizer bunny. Go figger! Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday to thee JG! :)
