- He's one of those people who are severely allergic to the 4-letter W-word (w-o-r-k). - It takes time to apply his spray-on tan (there's only so much a kindergarten makeup artist can do) - Everyone knows that a person doesn't look their best first thing in the morning. He waits until later so that when he can pander to the cameras his beloved followers will see his "glowing glory". (after all, he's famous). - He's not to coordinated... it's not easy for him to tweet and flush at the same time. (he's lost many a phone that way).
