Which scenario is more apt to win an election? Clean and fair backed by big money or corrupt deceitful devious rigged?

    Clean and fair won't win the race - no matter how much money is pumped into it.  It's lies that win races.  People eat up lies like candy.  The trick is not to have the lies exposed until after the elections.

    This is tangential to your other reply Shuhak. Why is it the way it is? Why do lies excite and make folks cling to the liars so tightly? I gotta ask. I think I might have asked before. I don't remember the answer! Thank you for your reply! :)

    It's that way it is because that's how we want it to be ('we' as in society in general).  As I've said before, lies sound good (make people feel good) while the truth, many times, doesn't.  {Don't tell us bad news, tell us good news - even if you have to make it up.}

    Dirt on an opponent.  Lie or truth...people will pay more attention to it. If they determine it to be false it can backfire on the one spreading fake news.

    People pay attention to sleaze. This is why tabloids make money. This why Kardasians, Paris Hilton etc are famous.
