Is striving to accomplish a necessary part of being happy? If you've everything you need and are content is there something wrong with you?

I'm not talking about material things or finances or success or status or power or notariety or great wealth.

If you have what you NEED and don't "lust" after anything/anyone is it okay to be content with that and live a good life?

Goals. Must we have them forever? If we reach one goal must we immediately get another or we have nothing to live for? Seriously. Some are always working to achieve this or that or more or less of whatever. How about just being? Unacceptable?
