Geez! Condolences. Hope it is short-lived and nothing deadly occurs. Thank you for your reply E! :) You don't have to go out in it do you?

Folks around here are used to it and drive semi-sanely. The temp is supposed to get above freezing, so some may melt. The biggest problem is neither me nor my wife can shovel it right now.

Oh dear. Are "they" good about keeping roads clear? Any neighbor teens available to do it for you?  In summer they earn money mowing lawns don't they? ?Earning money in winter shoveling snow should be a no-brainer foo them. Fingers crossed it doesn't get too bad for you.

The snow has stopped now. Only about 5". Plowing residential areas rarely occurs here...mainly the main roads. Kids no longer roam neighborhoods to shovel My sister and I did it all the time when we were youngsters. I pay well, too. One time we had a whole family roaming the are looking for shoveling jobs. They did mine in about ten minutes.

  • We're under a "winter weather advisory" for our area until tonight.  Some snow (an inch or so) and freezing rain.  As compared to what we lived through in IL .. not a biggie in our opinion.

Nope.  The winter storm warning we had here earlier has expired (the system moved east).  It was a dud here, only producing 2" of now.
