You have certainly heard about the GREAT LIBRARY AT ALEXANDRIA, Egypt that was destroyed by fire haven't you?

It allegedly contained the writings of the great minds of the time. I say "allgedly" because there seems to be a bit of a mystery. Was it as grand and great as we have been told. Did it exist at all? Apparently nothing was left of it after the fire. No fragments or remnants or bits or pieces. Gone completely.

What do you think our world would be like today had we always had access to the actual writing of Plato Socrates Aristotle? Our society is unconcerned with philosophy. You can't make money off it so it is of little consequence to most.

How would the world be different/better than it is?
