Sarah Palin was a half-guv. She quit her job mid-term. Nixon quit because he disgraced himself with Watergate. Has any prez besides Nixon walked off the job for any reason except dying in office?

We know Trump has stiffed various workers he employed at various times over his many years in business. Refused to pay what was owed for what he ordered to be done. What would happen if he tried to stiff we the people if he were elected prez? What if the job were just too much for him and he couldn't handle it? How would he make his exit and whom would he blame/frame to be the scapegoat/fall guy(s)? Why?
