Numerous times. Once, my aunt accused me of using crayons on my cousins retainer. I never knew who actually did it, but it certainly wasn't me. Nonetheless, I still had to take the punishment (ouch!)
Many years ago, I was accused of stealing a can of tuna at a supermarket. I said I did no such thing and the manager insisted I did. I dumped everything out of my purse onto the counter and, sure enough, no can of tuna. I left everything on the counter and walked out, never to shop there again.
No apology? No profuse remorse? No offer of a CASE of tuna they thought you had pilfered? I bet you weren't the only one they insulted L. Are they still in business I wonder? Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)
