Take cake. There are lots of different kinds and many of the ingredients are identical from one to the other. Slight variations proportions but still basically flour sugar eggs some kind of fat/liquid/ You can add cocoa powder or nuts or fruit or different flavorings but cake is cake is cake is cake. You don't confuse it with pie or cookies or pudding.
Angel Food, Devil's Food, carrot cake, fruitcake, pound cake.
