Normally political campaigns flex their muscles to prove they're better/stronger than their opponent. This time they're flexing muscles to show they're not as sleazy/inept/criminal/immoral.Why?

That changed beause transparency has started because of hacks and leaks and we see what the political groups really are and we see what the charities really are. That is a good thing. What the groups are didn't change but what we as people know about them changed fantastically. Corruption is everywhere as are lies and scams and theft and criminal activity. The hacks and leaks need to keep coming until the people can make an informed decision about who is the least corrupt. Then next election maybe two candidates will not be corrupt and we can decide on other factors.
