His stage name was LENNY BRUCE. His form of comedy integrated satire politics religion sex vulgarity. He did not understand why people got so upset about WORDS..all words..any words and not upset about social ills. Hypocrisy was his enemy. He died at the age of 40 from a drug overdose.
I don't know how close in mentality George Carlin was to Lenny. But Lenny fought the good fight before drugs overtook his life.
