Some think they only have to be "a good person" to go to heaven.  WRONG!

 - For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. -

Some think that just because they are part of a religion they will go to heaven. WRONG!

 - I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.  -

Some think that doing great good works will earn them a place in heaven. WRONG!

 - Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. -

Some think that it doesn't matter how they live they'll still go to heaven.  WRONG!

 - Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. -

Some think that all "roads" lead to heaven.  WRONG!

 - Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. -

Don't fool yourself -

* There is but ONE way to heaven and that way is Jesus.   ALL other ways lead to destruction.

* Only those who have put on Christ will be saved.  For only through Christ can we have our sins REMOVED.

* Only those who God truly "knows" will be saved.  Oh, He knows OF everyone, but He wants to "know" you (intimately)

* Faith all by itself cannot save.  God says throughout the bible that He wants obedience.  That means DOING what He says,not just thinking or agreeing with Him.  Faith yes, but faith alone is dead.

Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
