The debut single from this popular band was also the opening track on their debut album. It took a year to become a hit in the UK, and it still felt like the first time I'd heard it even though it wasn't.
I was a big fan of Foreigner. This was one of nine top ten hits they had in the US. It peaked at #4. Their only #1 was I Want to Know What Love Is.
That one also got to number one in the UK. Their only other Top 10 single here was "Waiting For A Girl Like You" which peaked at #8. The "Agent Provocateur" album topped our charts and their only other Top 10 album here was "4" which peaked at #5 and stayed on the chart for over a year. All in all they clocked up over 200 weeks in the charts with their singles and albums combined, which wasn't bad. Yes, they are a good band, I have liked them since I first heard "Feels Like The First Time" on the radio a year before it finally charted here.
