I heard this in a shop today. Back in 1979, nobody ever imagined Pink Floyd would have a number one single because, despite their incredible success with albums, they very rarely released singles and hadn't had a single in the charts since 1967. Then along came this three-minute excerpt from the double concept album "The Wall" and it was an enormous success.
