Neil Young is one of those singers who generally did far better with albums than singles, but this single taken from his 1972 album "Harvest" gave him his biggest hit single ever. It was his only single to make Number One in the USA and his only single to reach the Top 10 in the UK.
Great song. My favorite from Neil Young is The Needle and the Damage Done, I also love Southern Man.
All are good songs. I also like "Old Man," especially since I have become one.
Both good songs, but my personal favourite Neil Young song is "Unknown Legend" from the 1992 album "Harvest Moon". Very few songs from the 1990s are as good as this.
