From the start his goal was to divide polarize. Had his goal been to bring us together could he have done so?

If he could have and did so he would have been a SURE THING two-term president. Why didn't he go for that instead of what he focused on and still does?

    No, I don't believe Trump has the ability to bring people together.  He thrives on chaos and mayhem.  Bringing people together requires compromise, a concept which Trump would refuse to do.
