In America SUBSIDIES are given to wealthy farmers to NOT GROW CROPS. Any other countries this stupid dumb?

The wealthiest farmers get the largest subsidies. The more land they own they more they can get paid for NOT growing anything. Some contracts last for 10-15 YEARS!

If there is any way to siphon money to the wealthiest among us you can bet your a** don is doing it.

Of course the wealthy LOVE him.

    Subsidies were supposed to be a way to keep prices low and at the same time spur competition.  Sat there were 100 farmers.  Now one farmer had a million acres, but the rest only had 1000 acres.  The farmer with the most land could, conceivably, drive the other farmers out of business by making his "produce" (general term) cheaper.  (much the way bulk stores sell their merchandise).  Eventually, the 99 farmers would go out of business and/or sell out to the 1 farmer... giving him a monopoly.  Then,without competition, he could raise the price of his goods and consumers would have no choice but to pay.  This is the THEORY.  

    However, just like with everything else, people have found ways to "legally" profit from this.  Anything meant to do good will always be corrupted by some for selfish reasons.  I'm not saying all farmers "legally" profit from subsidies, but there are some who do.

    The wealthy take the money but still drive people out of business. They gain both ways but that among the perks of being very wealthy. Of course it takes cutthroat bestiality and maggot morality. There will never be enough money to offset that. Find a way to cheat someone will find a way to cheat bigger and better and it keeps escalating. This crossover vote thing is beyond disgusting vile and maggotty. Do people actually vote for the opposition to dilute the vote? That is such a betrayal of the voting process but once again when maggots get together they will do their best to do the worst they can to "the enemy" which is anyone who isn't them.
