Which demographic is more POWERFUL? The "white" folk or people of color like African Americans, Latinos and other? WHY?

Which group is there more of that is eligible to vote? Which group CARES MORE about the value of the vote? Which group SHOWS UP MORE CONSISTENTLY? Which group is far more LAZY INDIFFERENT? Put up or shut up?

People of the United States. SHOW UP AND VOTE or VOTE BY MAIL. ONCE ONLY. What are you afraid of?

If we're talking best voter turnout ... Based on these graphs, I would say older, white, with higher education.

    https://www.electproject.org/home/voter-turnout/demographics

btw - according to the 2017 estimates, non-hispanic whites are about 60% of the US population.
But the voting chart shows they make up about 73% of the voter turnout.
When you consider that not all NHWs vote ... that makes the voter turnout of the other demographics even worse.

If voting were 100% HONEST Walt and no one sabotaged or lied or undermined or played dirty tricks do you think more people would vote? Is it plain and simple indifference or distrust? If our vote is our only LEGAL weapon and we are empowered to use it why doesn't EVERYONE who is eligible to vote vote? Is it how they are raised? I don't get it. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday! :)

I think the majority of people who don't vote, it's because they believe there's not enough difference between Democrat and Republican.  They believe either way, our country is messed up.  And they don't believe a 3rd Party candidate can be elected, because they've been constantly told that (by Democrats, Republicans, and their media proxies).

    I'm not convinced.
Some of that is very true. There is a very little diff between a Corp Dem and Repub.
I think many do not vote because they're are either lazy,  think that their vote will not mean anything, or they simply don't care.

Asians, given that more than half the world's population is from that continent.

Of that small bit that is ruled by His Royal Orangeness, the European-descended ethnicity has the money, so it's the Golden Rule - he who has the gold makes the rules. That said, it was apathy that got him elected - the polls had Hillary on a hiding to nothing and the Dem voters didn't like her, so they figgered "why bother?" and didn't show up.

This time, they could nominate a hat rack and it would probably win, people would vote for it on the grounds that it isn't Trump.
