Did they shut the chat BELL off? I am hearing No bell of late. Not all the time anyway. Oh no. That is the fabric of my life that bell.

There were a lot of changes that came through to fix the recent issues and that can sometimes muck with how your browser reads the code. I just logged on and didn't hear the beep, but then I did a hard refresh (control or shift and refresh the page). It makes the beep now. 

I only hear the chat alert after I allow Flash to run and refresh the page.  If you really need the sound, make sure Flash in installed and that your browser doesn't have it disabled or in a "Click-to-Activate" mode. 

Nice catch. I wasn't aware there was a click to activate setting in some browsers.

I hope the new site is all Flash.
