I wondered whether dumb don were the first "billionaire" who was head honcho. In today's dollars probably JFK and FDR were. Ya think?

What their net worth was during their day compared to the time value of money today? Buying power versus buying power? So mebbe possibly perhaps definitely dumb don is not the first billionaire so situated. BUT and this is a very big BUT(not butt)...

Has the day of the US OLIGARCH begun? We got the dumb don priming the pump. We got a bloomberg and Steyer sniffing around the pump. There are lotsa hotsy dotsy totsy billionaires today and so perhaps now they will be the onliest ones who can afford to buy a presidency. Of course dumb don as the advantage of hostile foreign power meddlers/hackers/crooks working diligently on his behalf then and now. We KNOW that. How to devile demaggot his campaign is yet to be determined.

    Nope.

    In modern dollars ... Trump is still the only billionaire.

    George Washington would be the closest, and his worth would only be $587 million.

    FDR comes in at #10, with $66 million.

    JFK is half-way down the list (#25) at $10 million.
    His father's estate was worth $2 billion, but JFK's personal net worth was far less.

    Thanks for the reality check Walt. So dumb don is the first billionaire resident evil in the White House. What a sad commentary. I could cry. Happy Friday! :)
