The wealthy do indeed "own" the world. It makes it hard for the rest of us to survive, but somehow we still do. All day long they fill their bloated bellies with rich, succulent foods while we grovel under their tables; longing for the scant crumbs they occasionally wipe from their mouths. To them we are nothing more than drudges whose only reason for existence is to make themselves wealthier (we labor, they grow richer).
They INSIST we grow fatter and fatter from the crumbs and drips of TRICKLE DOWN. Remember? They get all of everything always and forever FIRST and when they are sated or messy and allow crumbs to drop down that's where we come in. They are so benevolent and kind. Some of them. Many of them kick at us mercilessly as we hide under the table willing to take the scraps to survive. Noblesse Oblige to them. They know they are all great and tolerate us. For them that SHOULD BE enough for us and when it isn't they berate us and say we are selfish lazy INGRATES. They are the fat cats with the fat a** but they believe on them it is so beautiful. But I digress. Thank you for your reply Shuhak. My wish for ALL OF THEM is that in the next life they be born POOR with no hope of ever getting even. :)
