Being addicted isn't just about drugs or alcohol or sex or shopping or exercising. Addiction to politics is alive and well. Good ta know/un?

Folks can be obsessed with and by anything it seems including people. Once hooked forever attached to the obsessed one/thing? Scares the heck outta me. But then I am addicted to curiosity and asking questions and could I quit either? I dunno. Never tried. But I don't HATE the incurious at all. I just think they're kinda dull and uninteresting never questioning never curious just floating along like tumbleweed.

I like learning about new things, but I'm not at all as curious as you are.  I like keeping up with current events.  Naturally, politics today is in your face 24/7, so this time around, I lean more towards political discussions and questions than many others.  Happy Friday. :)

I'm curious all over the place all the time about everything L. From literature to quantum physics to recipes to the nature of man to WHAT IF? My brain is always filled with questions. It has accelerated greatly since retirement and because of dumb don that's an added room all on its own which I wish I never knew about because I wish he never existed. Too late to do anything about that. I don't sit and try to think up questions. I wish it were that simple. I'm not in control of the questions that occur to me especially when I encounter things that make no sense at all. These days very little is logical or makes sense. I wish it were otherwise. I'd like a break but well so far not happening. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :)

Well, it makes you who you are and wanting to expand your base of knowledge is not a bad thing.  I ask very few questions - I don't know if it's because I'm not curious or because I really don't care. :)

It doesn't matter to me L. Your answers are pure gold and that's all I got to go by. Well our history too but you know that didn't happen immediately. It takes time and sharing to develop trust. Some of us build the house. Some design it. Some paint it. Some do the landscaping. All are essential. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday! :)

Did you ever meet BOOTSIE in our Answerbag Days D?  I think she was on the mug for a little while early on but she was treated very badly here so she just left. I miss her. It's a typical thing to hook up an addiction to shoes with women. A STEREOTYPE. I used to be more interested in them. Heck we had a series here in the states called "SEX AND THE CITY" where the gals were obsessed with Manolo Blanco(sp?)shoes and paid hundreds of dollars for them. It's a typical standard everyday ordinary label to brand women with. Some fit some don't. There are worse things than being addicted to shoes. How many pairs do you have or is that being too nosy? Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday to thee D! :) I believe Imelda Marcos had hundreds or thousands of pairs of shoes. Imagine a closet containing thousands of pair of shoes! How in the world can you decide which pair to wear? This post was edited by RosieG at February 22, 2020 4:01 AM MST

Yes I use to chat with her and her neice .....both were very fiesty and came from Liverpool or Manchester...Bootsie loved her boots to....
i must have somewhere in the region of six hundred pairs of shoes and boots...the dearest around two thousand pounds a pair...most are far cheaper though, I never buy or get given any that are cheap and uncomfortable....
Imelda had countless thousands of pairs and so many got destroyed when the storage area they were kept in after she was forced to flee got flooded......
i have a whole large bedroom full just for my shoes...lol..
i get and give a lot away to my family and friends....I give very few away of the ones I collect for myself...
obviously I can't wear them all and have ones in our bedroom that I wear regularly...
The room just smells of new shoes....it's like a really strong aphrodisiac to me ,just entering the room where I store them in their boxes...lol
