Can anyone find any QUANTITATIVE information in this reply? If so could you share it with us please?

When asked how he planned to pay for "Medicare for All" Bernie Sanders replied it would come from

"A modest tax on wall street speculation will pay for Medicare for All".

So what is the dollar value OR percentage of MODEST? Will it affect every speculator equally with the same FLAT TAX or will it be laddered?

Can you glean from what Bernie sez any specific NUMBER of dollars it will take to provide what Bernie says he wants?

It seems very fuzzy and hazy and misty and elusive...like mercury. It glistens but try to grab it and well it won't end well.

He left out that he plans to raise taxes on a family of 4 making as little as $29,000.

Does not sound like Wall Street to me...

When one can't answer any question at all about one's own plan something isn't right. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow he'll let us know? Thank you for your reply m2c.

Cheaper than paying for private health insurance.

Not if you do not have it.   I am uninsured. I do not qualify for gov healthcare. I have a payment I make to the Dr and hospital every month.   Raising my taxes will not help me.
I looked into private insurance.  The deductables are crazy. $5,000 and $15,000 per family to pay out 80% for $500-$700 per month. For a card that does nothing. But prevent a discount for private pay. No, thank you. That insurance card is worthless. If not costly.

My MIL had private health ins. She had to get an MRI. It was not going to meet the deductable. She could have them submit it to insurance (towards the deductable) and they would charge her $1500. Or she could pay $1000 without insurance submission.  What do you think she did?

A family of 4 making 29000 does not have insurance for the adults unless their employer is providing it. In which case, it is likely better coverage than gov insurance.

The countries where 'free health care' has been established for the entire population is usually working reasonably well, no complications having to deal with any private insurer.
