If it's true that Fidel Castro introduced a literacy program to Cuba why are folks so irate that Bernie mentioned that?

If it's not true then I get why they're angry. But if it's true what's the harm in mentioning it?

It seems that everyone everywhere is always looking for an excuse to get ENRAGED about something. Anything will do. The dumb of don is very proficient in doing that. I think it's a weakness. Some think anger is a strength. Whatever. More tempest in teapot buys us what exactly?

    There was already an literacy program in Cuba in 1950s. What Castro started was indoctrination through the schools. The children were then taken from their parents at age of 12 to work in the fields.   


    I believe Bernie just surrendered Florida in 2020.

    You know m2c all of this is driving me over the edge. WHERE IS THE TRUTH IN ITS ENTIRETY? WHY did Bernie bring it up at all if he knew that? And if he didn't know that then his problems are deeper than I thought. That means he just skims the surface and doesn't bother to dig in deep to find the ENTIRE TRUTH. It's gonna bite his a** real quick and it will be his own fault. Thanks for providing links. See this is when REAL TRUE FRIENDS come in handy.  So how much MORE DISGUSTED WITH ALL OF THIS am I gonna get d'ya think? Will you be monitoring me daily to give me links to answer my questions? I CAHN'T STEND IT. Whew. It is exhausting. Thanks for the info. Now I'm gonna read it.

    I do not monitor you Rosie. I have allways answered the political and religious questions. That puts me on your questions alot.   I enjoy answering questions that make me think and make me look into things more in dept. 

    I do not know IF Bernie knows this or not. I know other politicans have made the claim as well in the past. Perhaps he just was parroting. But he has doubled down on it now.
