We definitely need to stop funding schools with property taxes. The good teachers that are forced to work in some dangerous school districts don't make nearly the same salary as just an average type teacher in a wealthy area.

No. They should be fired for anything less. I'm tired of the low bar everywhere you look. Expect excellence............that is the only way you ever get it.
The measure is always standardized test scores and all that does is decrease real teaching and simply preparing all year for the test. This is why many are fighting to get rid of common core and standardized testing.
