    Well, I don't think science or facts would influence Don unduly.. he disregards all the expert advice he receives from even his own people..  and as to politics... well he doesn't exactly act in accord with the expectations of someone in his office.. so.. he really won't take any notice and will just carry on making decisions based on his mood!
