Move inland NOW while property values are still affordable. You have a window of 30 years to leave the coasts. WHY?

Because climate change is affecting sea level rise and by 2050 coastal cities will be under water. Especially in the states of Florida, New Jersey and New York. I expect California is also at risk. They will be under water.
What will happen to the Florida Keys and outer Islands in the south and the Hawaiian Islands probably won't be so good either. You are being given notice. Plenty of notice. Will you ignore it as being hyperfake and just wait until your palatial beach home is gone? Up to you. Warnings cannot be forced upon you. At some point common sense and logic is required and no one can GIVE them to you. It's all up to you. Sink or swim or drown. Your choice.

That is EXCELLENT my friend. We are inland about 70 miles or so. Of course we have world-famous beaches and the rich and famous live there. I won't be here in 30 years but you will. Different subject D. Do you and your family do much traveling normally? Is this COVID 19 virus going to impact your lives with regard to travel? I think airports and planes would be the last place I'd want to be among strangers coming from wherever and going to wherever. SIGH. Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday to thee! :)

We nip about Europe quite a bit as there to be no borders when in the EU.....more a few days at a time then weeks and weeks away as we use to do proberly six years ago or more Rosie...
on longer flights they cut the oxygen down a hit ,I can feel it and often told it by people that are still or use to be air crew....
There is so much of England ,Scotland,Whales and Ireland thst I've not seen....the south west coast of England is stunning as well..most areas where people visit tend to rip their customers off though...

It won't effect us much....only stupidity and still insisting on its their over common sense to fly to god knows where when it's far safer to not to fly in close confines then to say at home and keep away from strangers....lol

A item on the radio today described the authorities are considering letting the village of Fairbourne, in West Wales, go as sea-levels rise and storms become more frequent over the next few decades.

A map, admittedly a 4 miles to 1 inch road atlas rather than Ordnance Survey, reveals this small seaside resort occupies a peninsula in the estuary of the Afon Mawddach. Google Maps photos show it is only just above sea-level, though I think we can assume above local high Springs rather than the mean.

The problem is how to re-home or compensate the residents and local businesses, of course; but there are precedents on parts of the NE coast of England, where rapid cliff retreat has destroyed houses.
