I don't know where it closed on Monday but the last I checked the stockmarket was UP hundreds of points. BASED ON WHAT GOOD NEWS?

Dr. Anthony Fauci said that the world outbreak is now officially a PANDEMIC. More cases are being reported as are more deaths. We're told those masks people bought SHOULD NOT BE USED. THEY WON"T HELP AND THEY MIGHT HURT. We are told that an antidote is a year to a year and half away. What am I missing? What wondrous thing happened yesterday to goose the market up if that's where it landed at close?

    I am no expert on finance but I guess the bounce back was due to investors rushing in to buy shares and currency at depressed prices, knowing their values will rise naturally again in due course!

    Oh. What's to stop the market from plunging much further down as more testing uncovers more infected people and more people die? The US has FINALLY begun to get enough test kits. So far we've only tested HUNDREDS of Americans. The dumb don gubment spent so much time calling COVID 19 a HOAX by Democrats to harm dumb don nothing was done for WEEKS. So now we have to play catchup. Thank you for your reply Durdle! :)
