When individuals/groups/organizations/businesses/governments refuse to disclose information we assume it's because they have something to hide. Any other reason(s) you can think of?

They have a reason to maintain confidentiality - important members who require privacy or something

Why though Desiree? Why hide the fact that you are member of anything? Sounds devious to me. I have never belonged to any organization I was ashamed of or tried to hide. I don't understand people like that. Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday! :)
