I wouldn't. If it's to be tighter, there are less traumatic, extreme ways to help with that - a jade egg comes to mind.

Personally, I generally find quiet to be much more intense - I engage more, sensually, and am more aware of (and participating in) what's actually happening.
That said, the occasional moan or whatever can be really gratifying! And talk can be nice too.
