    My actuarial numeracy has not deserted me. For a UK male of my age, life expectancy is almost exactly 10 yrs. For Scots it's nearer 9.5 yrs. I have diabetes but consider myself fit for my age (eg I stil cycle on a push bike most days).

    It was labelled in French, German and Flemish but none of them were spelt the same way as in English. So I offered my friends Chocolat/Schokolade/Chocolade.
