Mike Bloomberg has just announced that he is DROPPING OUT OF THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE. Dropping like flies now aren't they?

No surprise here. Bloomberg just stated he will work to get Joe Biden elected president.

Now if bernie hadn't closed that door might mike have supported him? We will never know will we?

So now Joe has NO MONEY WORRIES! Full steam steam ahead! :)

Bloomberg's STATED GOAL HAS BEEN TO TROUNCE BOUNCE dumb don. What is needed to do that he has the money to invest in it. It's superduper swell when you have no money worries at all. I betcha.

Reminds me of the Agatha Christie mystery..."Ten Little Indians" I think it was titled. I wonder if Elizabeth Warren will have decided today and let us know which way she intends to go? Thank you for your reply L! :)

I guess we'll know soon enough.  If she does, I suspect she'll put her support behind Bernie.

Me too though wouldn't it be a HUGE upset if she went with Biden? The bernie peeps would eviscerate her for sure. They are a tough bunch. At least as tough as the dumb don peeps. Maybe tougher. Thank you for your reply L! :)

  • A few observations in the wake of "Super Tuesday": Mayor Bloomberg is reminiscent of the adage that advises: "A fool and his money are soon parted". Those five delegates he picked up yesterday cost him 100 million a piece. Secondly, now that the race is down to two "elder" statesmen of the party, it's more important to observe who gets the nod as VP for either, as that person may likely be president within two years. My guess is that either man will balance the ticket with one of the "young turks" of the party, meaning an extremist. Lastly, it appears that if Biden is the nominee, he'll be running on a Sanders platform. If Bernie picks the planks, his followers will be more apt to fall in line in November. If Sanders is shut out of the platform Committee AND the nomination, the party has a problem.

A very thoughtful analysis HG and you may be right on the money. But Bernie picking the planks for Joe? I dunno. That would be a BAIT AND SWITCH wouldn't it? I understand the need to "adjust" here and there to include more folks under the tent. But I think there is a limit to that. I'm just not sure what or where it is. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday. I wonder if Elizabeth Warren will announce today her withdrawal and support of Bernie. I expect that is a no brainer. We'll see. :)
