What happens to all the other folks who are very ill or dying and in need of attention? Do the COVID 19 patients now COME FIRST?

If people with COVID 19 go to a hospital isn't that putting everyone there at risk? You have people there who are suffering from underlying conditions which is what will cause their deaths if they are elderly and get the COVID 19 virus.

"We going to need 200,000 Intensive Care beds. The US only has 100,000 Intensive Care beds". Just heard
and I don't know the name of the health care professional who said it.

Our path forwards seems to be getting darker and harder.


Who will take care of the ill? When they take ill who cares for them? See the problem?

    Normally, hospitals have isolation units - even if they have to erect them in temporary tents out in the parking lot.
    Hospital staffs have been or are being trained how to handle contagious outbreaks.  They will do the best they can.  Not everyone who contracts this disease will die (it does NOT have 100% fatality rate).  They will recover in ~7-14 days ...just like with any other illness.    Yes it's frightening, but it is not the end of the world.

    Remember Shuak I am looking at this from the HIGH RISK group. 80% of those who get it will be back to normal no problem. It's that messy other 20% that won't. Strange it is that dumb don is in that high risk group but he still is doing ego-based hate rallies! See how stupid he is and how very stupid dumb his adoring worshippers are who still attend those rallies? The dumb of don is beyond reach. He always was a son of a beach!     I understand your concern.  My mom is only 1 year younger than you and she's really panicking.  She definitely has underlying conditions.  I have asthma, so it probably won't do me any good either.  While I am by no means trying to downplay this crisis, I believe panic can be worse than the disease.  Those who are at high risk SHOULD be concerned!   They SHOULD take precautions - stay at home as much as possible, wash their hands a lot, keep their homes clean and sanitized, have extra medication on hand, avoid crowded areas, see a doctor if sick, etc..  That's pretty much common sense.  Yet everyone is out there buying for a global disaster (WWIII?).   Our governments lack of concern (and control) and lackluster response only serves to amplify people's fears, not calm them.

    We're managing it just fine Shuhak. We agree totally on our plan of action and we will keep doing what we feel is best for us. Meanwhile the stupid dumbs don't know what hit them. The dumb don will continue holding his ego-based HATE rallies and his devoted peeps will attend. Isn't he the worst dumbsh** that ever was? But hey if that's the way they want to spend their time no worries. No skin of my nose. What happens happens. Thank you for your reply m'dear. We will endure survive. I hope dumb don doesn't.     HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!. Didja watch and hear HOAX last night during his teleprompter speech  m2c? You were very impressed with him no doubt. HE LIED DURING THE ENTIRE SPEECH.

    Here is the problem. We currently have 1 MILLION beds in the United States 700,000 of which are currently occupied. We are told that there may be anywhere from 70MILLION to 150 MILLION US inhabitants who contract COVID 19. A certain percentage of THEM will require hospitalization. 80% will get through it with no problem. The other 20%?  Do the math. Figger it out. When MILLIONS need medical care who is going to provide it? The HOAX dragged his heels and sat on his butt ridiculing the whole thing for a couple of months. That is why the US is still FAR BEHIND the curve vis a vis TESTING. We don't know how many have COVID 19 because we are unable to do the proper testing STILL AT THIS LATE DATE. South Korea is testing 10,000 people day. We haven't tested 10,000 people yet. "We will take care of all patients who needs treatment". Your words. HOW? Thank you for your reply.     Trump acted before the Dems wanted him too. 
    Do think those 20% will have need those beds all at the same time? Does everyone who get the seasonal flu get it at the same time? Of course not. 

    What has not been done that should be done?
