A very very very long line of shoppers. Why? Well WINCO instituted this and I didn't know anything about it.
Each morning from 5am-7am only folks OVER 65 can shop. You need ID if they ask for it. It started raining a bit before we got in. I zipped around and zoomed up and down the aisles and while there were a few instances of empty shelves it was remarkably normal. There were some limits to how many of what you could buy but I found everything available that was on my list. Well milk was there but only if you wanted half gallon or a gallon. There were no quarts available and that's what I usually get. I wonder if Walmart will go back to being open 24 hours because they're losing a lot of business. if so I wonder if they will have special hours for seniors to shop?We are the most endangered group so I think they are isolating us as well as giving us a chance to get what need. I don't know if every WINCO is doing it but the one in Hemet, California is. Good luck to allo fyou whatever your ages. Shopping used to be a fun thing for me. This new normal is not a lot of fun but we will overcome.
