Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» What do YOU expect your country's "leader" to do once elected? What does the job entail and what is his/her gubment there to do?
Make more trival laws to parasite on the working class people of this country....bury there head in the sand and think of England when things got tits up ......Nip of to Hawaii on a luxury Holliday while Rome burns and Swan about puffing his chest out to look important when things go wrong and they have no clue how to fix the mess they and their predesorrors have willingly got us into...
I think that about sums it up for just about all of them.... Can you think about any leader from yesteryear that hasn't ended up fabulously wealthy from their term in office.... One of the biggest most powerful countries in the world and you still don't have a free health or welfare system for those that need it the most...:(
As bad off as all countries are today the USA is in the more dire straits of all. Led by the HOAX and his cabal he says "WE ARE NOT SHIPPING CLERKS" to those who ask where is the help from the federal gubment? He says it is the Governors who need to do the work. He enacted a wartime trigger that would force manufacturing firms to make things needed to survive the COVID 19 war but REFUSES TO ACTIVATE IT. Why? Because he says he is waiting for a "worst case" scenario to arrive before he does that and he hopes it never will. So here we are stuck with an idiot who is indifferent stupid dumb and ignorant. Can you top that? Thank you for your reply D and Happy Friday to thee. I do hope you and yours are safe. STAY SAFE!

As far as I can work out ,at the moment things are not to bad....I don't see or hear of people dropping like flies... Its just the silly people stripping the shops bare of every product .....that is the only real problem here that's effecting the old and poorer people....it appears people are buying so much for themselves that it's leaving nothing for everyone else....most major shops are restricting how much people can buy on each visit....
Some markets have set up special hours for those over 65. Last Thursday we went to our local WINCO about 5:45 am(they stay open 24 hours) and we could not believe the very long line of people waiting to get in with shopping carts in hand. A very large sign on the front said the hours of 5am to 7 am are for the over 65 only. We had no idea that was what they did. They close down periodically during the day to sanitize and restock shelves. The other market we go to, Walmart, has recently instituted a one-hour window for the over 65. The stores used to open at 6am and now they open at 7am for the general public but seniors are allowed to shop from 6am before the crowds hit. Tuesday is our day for Walmart so we'll see how it goes. Life is so strange now but we're adjusting just fine. I mean is there a choice? Oh and we did notice some posted limits at Winco last Thursday which is fine. There's just the two of us. STAY SAFE sweetie! :) ((hugs))
I'm having second thoughts of our Boris the women basher president'tttt Rosie.....Hes shutting down all schools ,pubs ,sporting events , cinemas and every where people gather...there is also so much other things being done to help stop busines and self employed giong to the wall..... I was quite supprised for someone showing some common sense at last...There will be help for those that loose their jobs and they can't be evicted for not paying their rent..
That is very good to learn D. So your country is not in TOTAL LOCKDOWN but venues where crowds gather are being closed. And there will be help for those whose lives are now completely shot to he** financially. As time goes on and things get worse maybe the "best" in some leaders will show up. Thank you for your thoughtful AND INFORMATIVE reply D and Happy Sunday to thee. STAY SAFE! :)
