Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» I think it fair and just that those who called COVID 19 a hoax will contract it and have no ventilators available for them. POETIC JUSTICE?
No. Wishing harm to another - even if they've been an a$$ - is wrong. It lowers one to the level of trump.
Besides, if they do contract it, it can/will harm other people as well, not just themselves ... maybe even cause others to contract the virus. The more who get it (whether they are stupid or not) just makes matters worse for everyone.
I told you before and I'm telling you again Shuhak. You are a nicer person than I am. Thank you for your reply. The CODE of HAMMURABI (sp?) works for me. An eye for an eye. A ridicule for a comeuppance. It is how I am wired and at this age I have no wish to change who I am. Thank you for your reply! I expected nothing less than that from you! :)
I hear that's basically what happened in Iran. The government told people not to worry about it ... then government officials started getting sick (and dying), so they changed their tune.
I did not know that Walt and you have no idea how very happy you just made me! I am far from perfect and I support the CODE OF HAMMURABI (sp?) An eye for an eye works for me and a ridiculing of a real serious thing should bite the A** of the ridiculer in a perfect world! Thank you for your reply and Happy Friday to ya. Still hanging in? I'm sure you heard our Governor ordered us to stay at home. There will be consequences (I don't know what) if we disobey. :)
I also have heard rumors that there is consideration of closing state borders, to reduce interstate travel. I'm not sure how that would work ... since the truckers would still have to roll. And they're complaining as is, since truck stops are being closed and they can't get fuel. Maybe they'll have to use military convoys to escort truck convoys?
Talking about trucks and fuel, I passed a BP station today and gas was $2.12 a gallon and it was a full service station! That is about as low as I've seen it anywhere.
Think Washington will be locked down soon? I wonder why it hasn't been though now New York has eclipsed Washington for most cases so far. Anyway I don't see the HOAX rushing to do what needs to be done for the country. Every day he lies about everything and the folks in the trenches tell us they have to improvise PPE (protective clothing etc) and the situation is dire. Governors and mayors have given up on the HOAX. He talks big but is rigidly doggedly immobile. He is worse than useless. He is disseminating lies which can be dangerous because people believe him. Thank you for your reply and Happy Saturday. STAY SAFE! :)
Washington and Oregon have already closed all restaurants/bars/etc ... except for "to go" and delivery orders. They've also canceled all events.
WA Governor is allegedly considering closing the borders - but I don't know how he can, legally. That is interstate commerce, and under Federal jurisdiction.
Likewise, I don't know how it's legal for Oregon's Governor to declare a halt to all evictions. That is a judicial branch power, not executive.
The HOAX and all his ilk said it was a HOAX and ridiculed those of us who kept saying it was REAL. Spin it all you want to make the a**hole jackla** HOAX look good. It ain't happening. Thank you for your reply m2c. The HOAX is worthless useless impotent. He is do nothing inept inadequate arse. He will show you more of that day by day and you will adore him for it and justtify and protect and defend and embrace because that is how YOU are wired. You can't change and I can't change and so off we go. Thank you for your reply.
In 2018 HE ELIMINATED A DEPARTMENT THAT WAS SET UP TO DEAL WITH PANDEMICS m2c. LOOK IT UP. So he was the only cause for eliminating a department that was greared for that purpose ALONE. LOOK IT UP. Sheesh.
"No, the White House didn’t ‘dissolve’ its pandemic response office. I was there," wrote former National Security Council adviser Tim Morrison for the Washington Post on Monday.
"It has been alleged by multiple officials of the Obama administration, including in The Post, that the president and his then-national security adviser, John Bolton, ‘dissolved the office' at the White House in charge of pandemic preparedness," Morrison wrote. "Because I led the very directorate assigned that mission, the counterproliferation and biodefense office, for a year and then handed it off to another official who still holds the post, I know the charge is specious."
As part of an effort to slim down the historically bloated National Security Council, the directorate of global health and biodefense was merged with two other positions—not eliminated—according to Morrison.
