Never.  I've never been violent like that.  I threw a cup against a wall once and threw a potted plant against the wall once.  Those were my only violent outbursts.  And I really missed the cup. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at April 2, 2020 9:48 AM MDT

No. But my Grandmother In Law used to give all the newly weds a small cast iron pan. She told them that was for the wife if the husband got out of line. 

Her first marriage was an abusive one. I do not know if she used a pan to get out of it or not.

Yes I have.  Learned behavior.  I've seen actors and actresses do it on tv.  It was supposed to be funny, so I mimicked them.

Nooooo. ;)  I have never used one as a weapon, by choice.
There have been a couple times when I was the victim.

By my own stupidity, I have dropped, tossed across the room, and scalded myself by these innocent looking little cooking helpers.

They are heavy, hot, and hurt on command!
Don't be fooled.  They will and can hurt you if not used properly!!
