anyone know when we get the stimulus check if we're supposed to report it as income?




        Im getting stuff from the government like foodstamps, medicaid and ssi and medicare, i wondered if im supposed to give them a copy of that check, im also getting hud too, am i supposed to tell them too? i would call them but its hard to get them on the phone, any ideas?

    If you don't have direct deposit, you may have to wait longer than two weeks.  The first checks are going out to people whose checks are direct deposited.

  • Stimulus check will not be income.  It's being considered an advance of a 2020 tax credit.

    Pearl, you will get the stimulus money the same way you get your SSI payment.  If you receive a check for  your SSI, you'll get a check in the mail.  If you have SSI directly put into your bank account, the stimulus money will be direct deposited as well.
