What songs have you fixated on? And, why? That is, what's your story behind that song? (Hey Randy, help me out with this punked you Asian.

My song is "If you could read my mind" by Gordon Lightfoot.  It came out around the time that I was involved in a love quadrangle.  I had so many thought I had to hide.  Torture.

    This is the one song that has been a constant fixation  in my life for a long time now. I could tell you why,  but then I’d have to kill you, or something almost as  dramatic.

    "Wise Up"      Aimee Mann


     -- because I've always liked Mann since 'Til Tuesday (especially "Voices Carry") and I really liked how this song was used in Paul Thomas Anderson's movie "Magnolia"
