Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. Some say Tel-Aviv is but it was never, ever designated as the capital. It was the de-facto seat of the government for a few months after the declaration of independence, just enough time to set up a parliament building in Jerusalem. The only city that Israel ever defined as its capital is Jerusalem. So I guess that Trump doesn't stand alone. Research is a good thing.
