It took him long enough. This way, the ex prez can look like a good soldier and party man and appear supportive of the presumptive nominee. Obviously, Ole Joe wasn't very impressive in Barack's administration cause he had to wait for the process of attrition to take its toll before stepping out and announcing what should have been a foregone conclusion. Again, as I've said before, watch for the upcoming VP selection. That individual will be president from the first day out.
