How could you be considered a misfit? Do you feel mis-fit? What about you makes other people uncomfortable?

I don't pick up on certain cues and I can sit comfortably in extended, dead-silence where others twitch and fidget. I don't consider myself a misfit, but I've noticed some find these things unnerving.

I loathe small talk and cannot stand it when people talk about nothing just to fill the silence.  

I can be rather blunt and that seems to bother many people.
