If a tree fell down in a forest and there was nobody around to hear it, would anyone give a crap?

The animals in the forest likely would.

Any critters in that tree would. 

Right now, I have about 10 ash trees laying on the ground, all victims of the 'Emerald Ash Borer' insect.  This is good in a way since my sister burns logs in her fireplace. So she gives a crap.

Just the momma bird whose eggs were in the nest.
