      In complete fairness, I’m not only imperfect, these past few days I have committed many, many errors, meaning that there’s every possibility I may have done so here too. Just now, I have again looked at the question I posted to verify its correctness, and I find it lacking in no way whatsoever. If anyone differs in opinion, I welcome being so informed. Thank you all.

    I'm not saying that it's grammatically incorrect, only that it sounds ... strange.  
    It's the words "how" and "truly" that sound "wrong".  ("How can it truly be...")

    It would make more sense if the 2 weren't together.   Such as...

    "How can it be...",  or,  "Can it truly be..."

    The word “truly” modifies the verb “be”.
