GAG invited himself to speak at West Point Commencement. THE SCHOOL knew nothing about it. Parents are FURIOUS! WHY?

Forcing 1000 cadets to come back to West Point to be an audience for the egotistical faux prez is more than they are willing to tolerate.

What happens now big mouth? You invited yourself you can uninvite yourself. Jacka**!

That's part of being in the military, though.
Obeying orders from a superior officer.  Even when it puts your life at risk, or strikes you as "stupid".

Heck, let's be honest ... pretty much all military conflicts are stupid and unnecessary.

Maybe the federal government should spend AT LEAST as much on an academy for diplomats, as it does for military officers.

No one worse than him. Why oh why did it have to be during OUR lifetime? Answer me that Walt! Thank you for your reply and Happy Monday! Still doing OK I hope! :)

But the president speaking at a commencement doesn't put anyone's life at risk.

    Having a commencement does.
It's no different from any other gathering of a large group of people in close quarters.

If having students congregate in a close area isn't a health risk ... why is every school in the nation shut down?

Obviously. My point was that if an event is to held, one speaker doesn't pose any greater health risk than any other. I suspect that Rosie is allowing her feelings about Trump to hinder any sense of reason, and she is taking more umbrage at this than are those directly involved. I have no idea where she gets that much negative energy.

Will the commencement even be held? Most colleges and universities are cancelling them. And Rosie, as much as this must burn your butt, Trump is no "faux prez," whatever that means. He is your actual, legally and duly elected president.
